2 people die, 1 hurt as light plane crashes in England

A man and a child were killed when a small plane crashed Monday near a highway in southern England, police said. Essex Police said the third occupant of the plane, a woman, was injured. Police said officers were called just after 4 pm (1500 GMT) when the aircraft was seen on fire near Navestock, northeast of London. The area is near the M25 orbital highway around London.
