432 babies sick from Chinese tainted milk product

A Chinese state news agency said that more than 430 babies were suffering from kidney stones after drinking contaminated milk powder, and the dairy that made the product had been ordered to stop production. The official Xinhua News Agency said Saturday the total number of sick babies had risen to 432. It said that the Health Ministry has ordered Sanlu Group Co., China's biggest maker of milk powder, to halt production. It had sold the baby milk powder linked to the kidney stones in the infants.
