'5 explosions wound at least 25 people in Pakistani city of Karachi'

Police say a string of explosions has struck the Pakistani city of Karachi, wounding at least 25 people. The five blasts came the day after a deadly suicide bombing in Islamabad killed 18 people, most of them police officers. Babar Khattak, the Sindh province police chief, says at least two of the Karachi blasts involved "low-intensity explosive material." Karachi police chief Wasim Ahmad confirmed five blasts occurred. Police said the explosions were in the areas of Orangi, Qasba Mor, Hyderi Market, Shahra-e-Noor Jahan and Banaras.
