6 police killed in attack by militants in southern Afghanistan

Taliban militants attacked a checkpoint in southern Afghanistan and killed six police, police said Tuesday.
Police commander Rehmatullah Khan says the militants attacked the border police checkpoint in Arghasan district of Kandahar province late Monday then withdrew.
Khan said some militants were also wounded but had no further details.
