Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on Sunday for North Korea to immediately dismantle its nuclear weapons.
"The Islamic Republic demands the demilitarization of the entire world, including the Korean peninsula," Ahmadinejad told reporters at a press conference with a representative of Pyongyang.
On Saturday, Iranian and North Korean officials held meetings intended to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
