Blast kills 4 soldiers, injures 11 in Mozambique

Obsolete warheads due for destruction exploded accidentally, killing four government troops and injuring 11 others, the defense ministry said. The soldiers were unloading the weapons from a truck in the Moamba region, about 60 kilometers (40 miles) south of the capital, Maputo, when they exploded Saturday, the defense ministry said. It said that the injured were immediately taken to Maputo City Central Hospital for treatment. One is in a serious condition.
