By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
A bomb exploded near a power plant in southern Afghanistan Saturday morning, killing two employees and wounding six.
Mohammad Hussein Andiwal, the police chief in Helmand province, said the remote-controlled device was apparently hidden near the wall of the plant.
He said two civilian passers-by also were hurt.
Andiwal said the plant machinery was slightly damaged, but that power supply was not interrupted.
