Bomb kills 4 US-led coalition troops in southern Afghanistan

The US-led coalition in Afghanistan says a bomb has killed four of its troops in southern Afghanistan. A coalition statement says two more soldiers were seriously wounded when the bomb went off Thursday as they conducted operations in the southern province of Kandahar. The coalition did not release the nationalities of the victims. Afghanistan is seeing a resurgence of violence even as the US and NATO have poured thousands of new troops into the country.
