A British Airways plane slammed into a piece of equipment at a Scottish airport, prompting the evacuation of 50 passengers, a company official said Saturday. No injuries were reported.
The plane, operated by BA subsidiary British Airways City Express, was damaged when it became tangled in a cable and hit a ground power unit at Aberdeen airport Friday evening.
The plane was preparing to fly to Manchester, England. BA said the incident would be investigated.
