Brown: World can't wait any longer for Zimbabwe election results

The world cannot wait any longer for Zimbabwe to release the results of last month's elections, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Saturday. Making his second statement on the situation in two days, Brown said the international community was growing increasingly frustrated. "We can't wait any longer for the announcement of these results," Brown said in London, as an emergency summit of southern African nations took place in Zambia. On Friday, Brown said in a statement that the international community's "patience with the regime is wearing thin."
