Bush to Congress: Give new Iraq strategy a chance

"Our country is pursuing a new strategy in Iraq, and I ask you to give it a chance to work," US President George W. Bush told a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and Senate as he delivered his annual State of the Union address. "And I ask you to support our troops in the field and those on their way," he said. "Let us find our resolve and turn events toward victory," Bush declared.
