US President George W. Bush condemned North Korea's claim of a nuclear test on Monday morning during an internationally televised speech at the White House.
"The international community will respond," Bush said. "Actions taken by North Korea are unacceptable."
Bush called North Korea's nuclear capability "a threat to international security."
"The United Nations Security Council will take action," Bush warned.
