French President Jacques Chirac suggested calling an international assembly that would guarantee to aid Israel and the Palestinians in reaching a peace agreement, Israel Radio reported Tuesday. Chirac made the statement during dinner with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Annan and Chirac also discussed the goings-on in Lebanon.
