Closings begin in retrial of 6 accused in Sears Tower plot

Closing arguments are beginning in the second trial of a group of Miami men accused of plotting with al-Qaida to attack Chicago's Sears Tower and FBI offices is almost over.
Their first trial ended in December in a hung jury for six of the defendants and the acquittal of a seventh.
Prosecutors say alleged ringleader Narseal Batiste and the others conspired with an undercover FBI informant to blow up the Sears Tower and several FBI offices. They say the group hoped to start an anti-US government war.
Batiste testified that he was never serious and only hoped to con the informant out of money. Each of the men faces up to 70 years in prison if convicted.
