Computer hard drive cited in UK car bomb trial

A laptop recovered from a flaming Jeep used to attack a Scottish airport proves the occupants were determined to kill, a prosecutor said Friday Defendants Bilal Abdulla and Mohammed Asha both deny charges of conspiring to murder and cause explosions in London and at Glasgow airport. Abdulla was captured beside the burning wreckage of the Jeep that had rammed an airport entrance. He claims he intended to make political points but not hurt anybody. But prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw said Friday the laptop contained an apparent draft of Abdulla's will addressed to leaders of the jihad in Iraq and other Muslim fighters. The driver of the Jeep, Kafeel Ahmed, died from his burns after the attack.
