Cycle bomb kills teen, wounds 12 police in northwest Pakistan

A bomb rigged to a bicycle killed a teenage boy and wounded 12 policemen in Pakistan, police said Monday. Officer Mohammed Riaz said the roadside bomb was set off by remote control near a police van on the outskirts of the garrison city of Kohat. He said a teenage boy in a nearby civilian vehicle was killed and 12 policemen in the police van were wounded. The van was heading to a local jail to bring suspects to court for hearings. Riaz says the bombing targeted police but would not speculate on who was responsible.
