Israeli ambassador to Washington Danny Ayalon that the US government would not pressure Israel to halt its operations in Lebanon. He made his comments while speaking to Israel Radio on Sunday morning. Ayalon said the US would let Israel achieve a victory in the region. The ambassador added that the US views the Hizbullah as an Iranian offshoot that threatens the whole region.
