The European Union will highlight its support for a renewed Arab peace overture to Israel by sending its foreign policy chief to the upcoming Arab League summit in Saudi Arabia, officials said Tuesday.
During the two-day conference in Riyadh, Javier Solana will also hold bilateral meetings with several leaders, including Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, his spokeswoman Cristina Gallach said.
