Exiled Tibetan group says 80 confirmed dead in Lhasa during Chinese crackdown

At least 80 people have been killed in the ancient Tibetan capital of Lhasa during the Chinese crackdown there on protests, the main Tibetan exile group said Sunday. At least 72 more people have been injured.
Multiple sources inside Lhasa have counted at least 80 corpses since the violence broke out, said Thubten Samphel, spokesman for the Dalai Lama's government-in-exile. He did not know how many of the bodies were protesters.
