Greek firefighters battle large forest fire north of Athens

More than 100 firefighters assisted by water-dropping aircraft battled a large forest fire Friday near a group of homes in the hills north of Athens. Officials said at least two homes were destroyed and others remained in danger as strong winds could change the direction of the blaze. A total of 116 firefighters were trying to extinguish the blaze, assisted by eight water-dropping aircraft and four helicopters, 28 fire engines and 15 water trucks.
