Group denies involvement in New Delhi bombings

A group widely believed to have been behind the weekend bombings in New Delhi on Tuesday denied any involvement in the attacks. A spokesman for the Pakistani-based organization, Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, called accusations of its involvement "completely baseless and false." In a phone call to a news agency in Indian Kashmir, the spokesman said his group, which has carried out dozens of attacks in the past, does not target civilians.
