A soldier was killed and another wounded when a roadside bomb hit their patrol in eastern Baghdad, the US military announced in a statement Sunday. It said the incident took place Saturday and identified the roadside bomb as an explosive-formed penetrator, the term used by the US military to refer to a particularly deadly type of roadside bomb it says Iraq is supply Shi'ite militias with. Iran denies the charge.
