Jordan's King Abdullah II arrived in Ankara on Tuesday for talks on Middle East peace, as Israelis and Palestinians prepare for discussions aimed at reaching a settlement following an international summit in the United States.
The king was scheduled to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian peace process with President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the one-day visit.
Turkey has close ties to both Israel and the Palestinians.
