Kenya has closed its border with Somalia, the foreign affairs minister said Thursday.
Foreign Affairs Minister Raphael Tuju did not say when the decision was made or how long the border would remain closed. Kenyan has been concerned that Somali Islamic extremists on the run from their government and its Ethiopian backers could slip across the border.
