Lawyers for Briton at Guantanamo say US has dropped all charges

Lawyers for a British resident held at Guantanamo on Tuesday said the US dropped all charges against him. Ethiopian refugee Binyam Muhhamad moved to Britain when he was 15. US authorities accused him of conspiring with al-Qaida leaders to attack civilians and commit other crimes. He says he was tortured in Morocco before he was sent to Guantanamo Bay. The legal charity Reprieve that represents Muhammad said all charges have been dropped but he is still being held at the US prison camp. Meanwhile, his British lawyers were fighting for the release of secret government documents that they say prove he was tortured in Morocco.
