Mauritanian authorities say they have arrested two men charged with organizing attacks by an al-Qaida-linked gang. Head of judicial police Mohamed Abadallahi Ould Adda says one of the men has been charged with planning and executing the December killings of French tourists. The other is accused of masterminding a February attack on Israel's embassy. Adda says they were arrested early Wednesday morning. A third man suspected of involvement in attacks by the al-Qaida-affiliated terror cell was also detained.
