N. Korea boycotting talks until US releases funds

A Japanese Foreign Ministry official said Tuesday that North Korea was refusing to take part in six-party nuclear talks until $25 million in frozen funds are released. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the issue, said that a meeting of the six delegation heads at the talks was canceled Tuesday afternoon because Pyongyang refused to take part.
