N. Korea denies aiding Iran with nuke development

North Korea dismissed allegations Saturday that the communist regime is cooperating with Iran in nuclear development. The "assertion is nothing but a sheer lie and fabrication intended to tarnish the image of (North Korea) by charging it with nuclear proliferation," the North's Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the North's official Korean Central News Agency. The ministry also said the North will continue to sincerely honor its duty in the field of nuclear nonproliferation as a responsible nuclear weapons state.
