Pakistan condemns Israel's actions in Lebanon

The foreign relations committee of Pakistan's upper house of parliament on Thursday vehemently condemned the Israeli "aggression" in Lebanon and urged the international community to pressure Israel to halt the strikes. The demand came through a unanimously adopted resolution at a special session of the Senate committee held in Islamabad. Mushahid Hussain, a top leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League party and chairman of the committee, presided over the meeting. Pakistan has no diplomatic relations with Israel.
