Pakistan test-fires new short-range missile

Pakistan on Saturday successfully test-fired its indigenously developed short-range nuclear capable missile, the military said. The launch of the surface-to-surface Haft-II Abdali ballistic missile, which has a range of 200 kilometers (125 miles) was conducted from an unspecified location, a military official said on condition of anonymity because he's not authorized to speak to the media. The Abdali is considered capable of being fitted with a nuclear warhead.
