Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas visits Romania

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Romania on Monday for a two-day visit. Abbas will hold talks later in the day with Romanian President Traian Basescu about the situation in the Middle East and bilateral relations. He is also expected to meet lawmakers from both chambers of parliament. He was greeted early Monday by Basescu in a ceremony at the Cotroceni presidential palace.
