Palestinian immigrant slain in US Virgin Islands

US Virgin Islands police say a Palestinian immigrant has been found shot dead outside his home on the island of St. Croix. Spokeswoman Melody Rames says Shada Mustafa was discovered in his front yard before dawn Monday with several gunshot wounds. Authorities have not offered a possible motive. Mustafa came to the US Virgin Islands from Jerusalem and worked as a gas station manager. St. Croix is one of three islands in the Caribbean territory of 110,000 people.
