United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with Shimon Peres Wednesday night in Washington.
Among the issues that the two discussed were the upcoming Palestinian elections and the anticipated situation in the Middle East ensuing the vote.
Peres arrived in Washington in the name of Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, and met with senior US officials including World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz.
