President Shimon Peres said on Tuesday that Israeli and Palestinian negotiators were unlikely to reach a peace deal before next year.
Peres told reporters at the United Nations that "there is a very fair chance" to conclude talks next year. Prime Minister designate Tzipi Livni has signaled she will keep negotiations going.
