Hundreds of Qatari men and women marched in downtown Doha Monday to protest the IAF strikes and IDF shelling against the Gaza Strip. Men wearing the traditional long white tunics, dishdashas, with matching headdresses, and women dressed from head to toe in black, wove their way through the streets raising banners and shooting slogans critical of Israel. The peaceful demonstration took place in the early evening as the searing summer heat began to break.
