The International Red Cross has called for the Red Crescent and Magen David Adom to implement a memorandum of cooperation signed two years ago.
The motion was approved unanimously at the 30th meeting of the Red Cross in Geneva on Friday, Israel Radio reported.
A Red Cross council member said he urged both the Red Crescent and Magen David Adom to expedite the passage of ambulances through checkpoints.
