US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday morning responded to criticism aimed at the US in the wake of its decision to veto a UN resolution to condemn Israel's operations in Beit Hanun.
Rice released a statement saying that the resolution to condemn Israel would have worsened the situation in the Gaza Strip since it contained "unnecessarily provocative contents."
