SKorean top intelligence official: NKorean leader's health has improved
By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
South Korea's top intelligence official on Tuesday said North Korean leader Kim Jong Il's health appears to have improved.
Lawmakers from South Korea's ruling party said National Intelligence Service chief Kim Sung-ho told them Tuesday that his agency believed Kim Jong Il's health had "improved a little." No further details were available.
South Korean and US officials had reported North Korea's 66-year-old leader suffered a stroke.
North Korea, however, continued to deny Kim was ill. Kim has not been seen in public for more than a month.
