US Senator Joe Lieberman has called on the White House for an immediate attack on Iran, Army Radio reported Sunday. Military action, Lieberman said in an interview with CBS, will accomplish two goals: The destruction of Iran's nuclear plans and an end to terror attacks against US soldiers in Iraq. Iranians cannot assume that they have immunity; if we allow them to think that this is true, they will see it as American weakness and we will pay for it in Iraq, in the Middle East and eventually in the US itself as well, Lieberman added.
