A suicide bomber rammed his car into a British military patrol in southern Afghanistan on Monday, wounding three nearby Afghans, a police chief said.
The attack in Gereshk city of Helmand province damaged one of the British military vehicles, but no British troops were wounded, said Mohammad Hussein Andiawal, Helmand's police chief.
The three Afghan civilians wounded in the attack were riding a motorbike close to the convoy, Andiawal said. They were in serious condition, he said.
