Police closed a major road in central London on Friday because of a suspicious vehicle, hours after defusing a car laden with explosives. A police spokesman said there was no immediate information about the vehicle on Park Lane, on the eastern edge of Hyde Park. He said there was nothing immediately to suggest it was linked to the earlier incident.
