Sweden frees 2 terror suspects accused of financing militant groups

Swedish police have released two men suspected of helping finance militant groups in Somalia, a prosecutor said Thursday. The two Swedish men, who were not named, were still suspects in the case and have to report regularly to the police, prosecutor Ronnie Jacobsson said. The men were released Wednesday. Prosecutors will decide later whether to charge them, Jacobsson said. In all, three men were arrested in raids in Stockholm on Feb. 28. All of them denied the terror financing allegations, Jacobsson said. The third man was released soon after the arrests.
