Tornadoes hit parts of England, damaging property

A series of tornadoes swept through parts of England Monday, tearing off roofs and bringing down trees, the national weather office and authorities said. Homeowners in the counties of Warwickshire, Bedfordshire and Hampshire reported damage to houses caused by the surging high winds. There were no reports of injuries.
