Turkey's military says its warplanes have struck a group of Kurdish rebels, including senior commanders, in northern Iraq.
It says in a statement that the attack took place Sunday and targeted rebels in the Zap region.
It would be the seventh Turkish air strike against Kurdish rebels since a rebel attack on a military unit on the Turkey-Iraq border killed 17 soldiers on Oct. 3.
