The US-led troops have killed three insurgents and detained four others during a raid in eastern Afghanistan, coalition forces said Friday.
The coalition said the troops killed the insurgents in a clash in Paktika province on Thursday.
It said they were targeting an insurgent leader involved in facilitating the movement of foreign fighters and weapons throughout eastern Afghanistan.
