The chief US negotiator in free trade talks with South Korea said Friday she is confident the two countries can strike a deal ahead of a looming deadline, though key issues remain.
"I remain hopeful that there will be agreement," Assistant US Trade Representative Wendy Cutler told reporters on the final day of the sixth round of talks. "I will have no announcements of any breakthroughs on the most sensitive issues."
