The United States clarified its position vis-a-vis Israeli aid to the Palestinian Authority late Wednesday.
The US said that it opposed a transfer of tax funds that would go to pay PA government workers' salaries. On the other hand, the country gave its blessing to humanitarian aid that would benefit the Palestinian people directly, without going through the Hamas-led government.
