Bolton: NIE report 'politics disguised as intelligence'

A National Intelligence Estimate released Monday that said Iran had stopped working towards a nuclear weapons program in 2003 was "politics disguised as intelligence," former US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton has told Der Spiegel.
Bolton called the NIE a "quasi-putsch" by agencies involved in the Iran nuclear crisis.
