Iran has expelled a German diplomat, apparently in response to the expulsion by Germany of an Iranian diplomat last summer, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported on Saturday. The German Foreign Ministry refused to disclose details on the German diplomat's departure. The German magazine Der Spiegel reported in December that Berlin had expelled an Iranian diplomat who allegedly sought to buy equipment for Iran's nuclear program.
