Kuwait's parliament speaker says West 'provoking' Iran on nuclear issue

The West is "provoking" Iran on the nuclear issue, Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Jassem al-Kharafi said Monday, recommending "dialogue not escalation."
Kharafi said in an interview with Kuwait TV that the "sovereignty" of the Islamic Republic should be respected and Iran should not be treated as if it were one of "America's states."
Al-Kharafi said Tehran realized the area could not take such tensions.
